Anthony Joshua is seemingly not the biggest fan of Tyson Fury vs Francis Ngannou, but admires his rival's attitude in taking the fight.

The Gypsy King has come in for a great deal of criticism following the collapse of talks for an undisputed showdown with AJ's conqueror Oleksandr Usyk earlier this year.

He will instead now face former UFC champion Ngannou in a crossover boxing match on October 28 in Saudi Arabia.

"Fury has to do what Fury has to do for him," Joshua said, speaking ahead of his rematch with Dillian Whyte, which will be live on talkSPORT on August 12.

"I admire the guy for his confidence to do what’s right for him – he has an ‘eff it’ mentality.

"I think we all need a bit of that in today’s society.
